Dorcus is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda with extensive experience in commercial law, land acquisition advisory and compliance. She provides strategic legal advisory, regulatory compliance guidance to individuals, corporate clients, and project stakeholders.
Renowned for her practical approach, Dorcus has successfully handled complex matters, including high value land compensation claims. She is frequently engaged to facilitate negotiations and settlements; consistently achieving timely and favorable outcomes for her clients.
Dorcus has played a key role in major land acquisition projects, including the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), where she conducts legal due diligence, assesses regulatory compliance, and guides affected parties through compensation agreements. She has also facilitated high-value settlements, and resolved intricate corporate and registration disputes, demonstrating both legal acumen and practical problem-solving skills.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Uganda Christian University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
